First you have to configure the binaries for the component. Have you done that? I suggest that you check the FAQ and the component own help page and you can use the pdf page to test the pdf generation.
Once that's done you should be able to use it as you are trying.

I recommend that you don't use variables (to avoid request to the server).
There are several ways to accomplish this. One approach can be:
1) For each input you have place the original value of the input in a "data-" attribute (use input extended properties for that effect)
2) Attach an handler to the window onbeforeunload event
3) On that handler iterate over all inputs on the page get their values and compare against the value from its data- attribute
4) If there's a difference show a confirm dialog to the user

I don't thing that approach is recommended. You should try to split the sync process in smaller bits and make it resilient and allow it to resume.

No we are using this OAuth token at the client-side.
Without token, we will have no access to the server.
You have any filters or proxy to check the token?

Yes, at every request to the server there is a gateway that checks the token.

I already followed the instruction that come with the .oap.
I configured the binaries that were in the Bleeding Edge Mingw 64 bits file (my OS works with 64-bit architecture).
The administration screen of Html2PdfConverter can be seen in the attachment.
I already read all the Discussion that were opened in the Forge, because i had similar problems and i'm still debating with one of them. The error can be seen in the attachment.
I have set the Run As parameters as it is suggested in many discussions.
I tried one thing and it worked: I installed the PrintPageToPdf component in my environment (this component can be found at http://www.outsystems.com/forge/component/1067/print-page-content-to-pdf/) and i could create the PDF from the HTML i want. But when i use the same code inside my app, the error above is thrown. My code flow can be seen in the attachment.
I'm already struggling with this since yesterday and this is becoming quite frustrating.
Can you see what am i doing wrong?

Use Silk UI will not impact your depth understanding of OutSystems. I think that the opposite will happen, using Silk UI will help you to understand better OutSystems, because it'll help you to focus more on the business logic and in your application architecture.
Silk UI will help you to have a better look and feel on your applications, so you can easily build a screen with a great UI.
Silk UI has sample apps, but they're just to help people understand what they can do with the Silk UI components.
I'm very curious about what applications you want to build. If you can, send a print and I can help you trying to understand which Silk Patterns can help you accelerate your developments. :)

There's no supported platform API to do that, although you can patch the XMLHttpRequest js builtin object to add the token to every request.

I have a problem, I use an extension called FileSystem, also I use an File_WriteText action to update an resource, called " i18nJs.js " , it's into a folder inside my refereced module called TwprojectGantt.
When I running my action to the update the resouce, it's works, I can see the alterations because i set up a tablerecord, inside a webscreen, with action Directory_ListDirFiles, and return a list of file this directory:
"C:\Outsystems\Sandboxes\NYFVYY010\Platform Server\running\TwprojectGantt\libs"
When I open the file I see the update I made.
However when I go to the my module refereced and open the file in that folder, mantains the original and it's don´t have the updates.
if it's the same root of the file, and I see the update i have made, and if is the same file, why that's don't happen in my referenced module, i don't understand.
