Hi Team,
While using different OutSystems UI Widgets, we do not have basic accessibility embedded with them.
Eg.,
1. Table Records Widgets: on tab click in rows, the focus & tab index is not working as expected.
2. Expressions & Text: tab index & focus are not coming on text & expressions placed on the screens.
3. Modal Popup: When the modal popup opens the focus does not come on the popup window.
4. Feedback Messages: Focus & tab indexing does not work on feedback messages.
There are a lot of OutSystems UI Widgets/Components which do not comprehend the basic rules of accessibility.
The developers need to handle this on each code base separately using JavaScript or jQuery.
If we get this inbuilt with the widgets then we might not need to explicitly handle the basic accessibility compliances in every application separately.
This applies to both Traditional & Reactive Web Deveopment.
Any thoughts?
