[Forums] Invalid Call of the 'OnParametersChanged' client action

Hi everyone,

I've searched the forums but can't find a solution for below, I've raised a ticket to OS Support but up to now, no solution yet.

Controller [2019-11-08T07:56:04.787Z]: Invalid call of the 'OnParametersChanged' client action of the 'WIPScreenFlow.ToolListingScreen' since the latter is not currently active. This is likely due to a platform's client action being used as an event handler or in a setTimeout function. Consider removing this call by using the 'On Destroy' event of the screen/block or moving your logic to a global client action.

Hey Marvei, I did the same things as you mention. But not working. I think something wrong, both input box and date picker disappear when i set style property " display:none" in extended property. Here are the screenshots.

It would be great to be able to write small functions/Actions in linear code as this would be faster and easier to understand for larger functions than the Icon representation.


Ex;


1. If -> (a=b or b=c), goto 2, goto 5  

2. Assign -> lines of assignment

3. RefreshQuery (p1,p2)

4. AjaxResfresh (widget)

5. End

In the data tables of aggregates there's no way to select a value, or if the value is too long there's no way to expand the value and see all of it .

Add Multi-user accounts and permissions features to "Users" portal

So you’ll be able to invite different users to your app account and specify different levels of access for them, where each user gets their own username and password.

Different accounts can have with different roles and permissions to access one user account.

Create a public server where forge component examples can be available for users to test.  Currently when publishing examples to your personal environment, it tends to get inactivated frequently and then the samples you include on forge don't work.

In my opinion the combobox margins and padding's in the visual css should be bigger and should contain the OutsystemsUI variables as options

As you can see from above screenshot the combobox is really small when we are using variables and also I need to write the variables all the time or copy paste from somewhere else.

-r (needed to be fit in the title on the end :) ).

When you check what a timer is doing you want to click the selected action to go to that action to see what it's doing.

Now you can only 'read' the action and search for it. Would be nice if you could just click on the selected action and be directed to that action.

A centralized configuration per entity field for data display that is automatically reflected throughout the entire eSpace and any consumer eSpaces, which will ensure a standardized display of its contents.

Also there should still be the option for overriding the standard display (which is already insured on the record display widgets).

When we select any web block, like here selected Sidebar block, Then there should be a quick icon to show/hide placeholders.
It will be helpful because most of the time we need it.

[Ideas] Attribute in expression should be able to select with Enter key

As this is a low code platform, user should be able to select expression attribute with keyboard enter key. for now we travel through the attribute (which we can do with right arrow key +down arrow key) but to select attribute we have to click, if we can select that by enter key that will make it easy for user.

[Ideas] Automatically set Comment as reminder by prefix (on screens / WBs)

Hi,

Based on this old idea, the reminder property of comments are automatically set in actions, and I actually use it a lot. However, I only just noticed this does not work for comments on screens yet.

Would it be possible to implement this feature on screen comments as well? Or are there good reasons (that I currently cannot think of) not to do so.

Being able to understand what components are being downloaded/used by which Industries / Business areas (e.g. Insurance, Healthcare, Banking, ...).


If I'm from the Healthcare industry, I would definetely find useful to understand which components are being used the most by other companies of the same industry as mine.
