At this moment you don't get much help with writing your Javascript code. It could be really handy if the editor gets an update with hints and autocomplete. Just like other IDE's or editors have. This would speed up the development and make it a lot easier.

When you drag a variable of type "record", the assign is correctly populated with the fields in the record.

It should also auto set the label of the Assign to the name of the variable, for clarity.

On the network a lot of good examples are available.
Even 'Legacy' OML's can be a good example for developers.

I'm running into two resolvable issues in trying out legacy examples and implementing Extensions / OSP's.

IPP is set for the majority of both Extensions and example OML's
Older OML files need to be upgraded first with a version of Service Studio older than the one I have installed

These two issues, I think, could get a good 'fix'; simplifying the testing of extensions and examples and with that increasing adoptivity:

Always set IPP of the stored Extensions and OML's to the Community's activation code [ 000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 ]
Offer an online OML upgrade tool (eventually perhaps built-in in the download button so one can select the Service Studio environment directly on download)
(A default Service Studio version could possibly be set in the User settings)

While developing applications in the platform there is always the need to view the content of a table. In the current situation you need to start management studio to view the content of the table.

It would be great if it was possible to view table content direct from the platform. Without the need open management studio and look for the right table in the big list of tables. It would also be good to have basic edit and delete functionalities on the tables.

Hi there, if i have two applications with BPT, say it A and B, for a given user in those applications, if i open an application A, the TaskBox also show tasks from application B. Isn't it a good idea just to show tasks per application basis, not peruser basis?

Like ListClear action there should be one for records.
With just one action and just passing the record name as argument it could set the record attributes to the default values.

This would be easier, faster and much cleaner than setting all attributes one by one or assigning the record to a blank one.

In some situations the platform should auto refresh espaces and publish them (if possible).

Scenario:

Public Entities consumed by several espaces.

There's the need to add a new column or record for static entities.

Consumers will be outdated/broken.

When the espace with the change is published which has consumers, should check if its possible to auto-refresh the consumer, and if so refresh it and publish it automatically.

By the way it would be nice to have more filters on Espaces List in SC.

Sometimes, making one solution of all the enterprise eSpaces may not be feasible, and one has several solutions to deploy.

Usually these solutions have an order to be deployed, and today we have to wait for a solution to finish to deploy all the others that are left...

It would be nice to have a feature in servicecenter that would let us upload several solution files, and afterwards set and order for their 1-click publis and start publishing them sequentially.

Hello.

Sometimes we need to cut and paste some elements in a flow to change their position in the flow.

It would be nice if we could:

1) select the elements (one or more),

2) cut them,

3) select the connection / arrow in the flow where we want to paste them,

4) paste the elements and they would be inserted in the connection / arrow that was previously selected.

Hope I made myself clear.

It's not an essential feature but I think it would be nice.

It would become a lot more flexible, mainly when there are many breakpoints and want to delete them all simultaneously.
Currently, we can only delete one at a time.

During development, sometimes I end up having a lot of breakpoints and after completing the work I have to go and remove breakpoints one by one.

It would be easier if there is an option to remove all the breakpoints on the workflow or select multiple nodes and right-click menu have an option to remove breakpoints.

Please let me know if this feature is already there and I have missed it.

Hi,

Often times when I'm creating a custom bootstrap timer, I have to:

Create the Server Action
Create the Timer (most often, it has the exact same name as the Server Action)
Schedule the Timer: 'When Published'

I would love to:

Right click my 'Bootstrap...' server action
Click 'Create Timer', or something like that
Then I could click 'Publish' right away.

or:

Simply drag my Server Action to the 'Processes' tab (next to 'Interface'), and it would just create a timer for me with the magical stars flashing by :)

Side idea: Usually, these types of server actions are named "Bootstrap...", so you could make the context menu based on the name of the server action.
