[Forums] Accidental Deletion of an eSpace

No backup is available unfortunately.

It seems that the record is actually deleted.  Just a quick list of the eSpace entity records doesn't show my deleted eSpace.  I appreciate the help.

In the forge there is a FTP solution

but it doesn't connect to FTPS,

Hey, Preston,

Sorry for the late reply. I'm not the biggest multi-tenant expert, but I think we can configure the connector's site properties for each tenant individually. More specifically, we could configure the same AcountSID for every tenant, but a different "default from". But this looks, personally, somewhat hackish: not sure if tenants can't access the property values and manipulate them.

What I'd do (again not being the biggest multi-tenant expert) is create a tenant-by-tenant backoffice where I'd associate each desired number to each tenant Id and then modify the connector to fetch it, along with the AccountSID, during the "OnBeforeRequest" action.

Does this make sense? If so, does it fit your use case?

Even on lisbonpreview we can see the same problem.

When emulation is off the javascript is not working as it is suppoused to.
Presented class "desktop small" when it should be tablet because width is <1024

Hey, JJ,

Sorry for the late reply. Have you solved this?

From what I could understand, you wanted to use one of the screens from the connector (such as this one) in your app, but can't find it on the Manage Dependencies dialog. That's because it's a Demo screen, which is not meant to be referenced. You can copy it to your app, however and it should work as intended (be careful to copy the theme, as well).

If that's not it, coul you please be a bit more thorough on what the problem is? Are you trying to make a call or send an SMS on your app?

Hi Suraj Borade,
             First i will say that its not a best prectice, if you really want then you can achieve it like...
 1:- before inserting get the max index  and add 1 which will be your new index, in this way you will not get the index like 1,2,3,4,5 but it will prevent you to create a duplicate index.

2:-Get the list of index in  asc order, then Isfound =false then treverse the loop like   if(Isfound =false and  lstindex.list.current.tablename.index > lstindex.list[lstindex.list.current.Rownumber-1].tablename.index+1) 

then Isfound var_index=lstindex.list.current.tablename.index +1 and Isfound=true
 
dont forget to pass the loop if the currentrownumber =0

Default value on combo box: I don't know why that is not working. I have an entity (not static) that holds a list of case types: "Criminal, Family, Appeal, Homicide, etc..."

On a new case, I want the combo box in the case entity bound to this casetype list to show "Criminal" as a default.

Since the casetype attribute in the "Case" entity is an identifier to the casetype entity list, in the preparation, I fetch the proper ID for the "Criminal" casetype value (it's id could be different for each customer). Then, assign the id value to the CaseForm.Record.Case.Type attribute.

I figure this should work, but it doesn't. The casetype combo box still shows the first value on its list.

What am I doing wrong?

Note, I read the forums on other questions about similar issues, but none of them is really about assigning a default value for a brand new case.

This is an interesting website, the fields are not always the same and the fields are not initially defined.

What is the best way to consume a REST web service that contains dynamic fields?

(I know how to consume this via integration studio in c#, (it's painful), but don't know how to do this via service studio built in consume REST feature)

I am trying to understand the technical architecture of authentication module in Outsystems.


1. Does the platform make use of the capabilities of Jboss to manage authentication and authorization
2. What are the other options for JAVA based application in Outsystems to enable SSO?
3.Is there an out of the box capability to use external authentication provider?
