Err,

why do I get this error?

I changed the server to UTC, but now I cannot convert the currdatetime() to UTC
(which is silly ofcourse, but I would expect not to have to change my code?)

my code in short:

GetCurrTimeZone()
ConvertToUTC(currdatetime(), GetCurrTimeZone.timezone,timezone.standardname)

What is the error you're getting? Can you get a trace from Service Center?

Hi kota,

When executed in the Server, RunJavascript will queue a script to be executed after the page is loaded in the client. So if you run it several times in the context of the same request, it will add more scripts to the queue. 

So the logic you have works in your Development environment, but not in the other one (Production?), is that it? Can you share an eSpace with an example of the logic you're using?

Hi, 

Is there a way i can convert a static entity record to text  or date.

I have a static entity which I am using to filter with so I need it to know when a choose a record I need it to return certain date.

For instance; Static entity name Filter and has Date and Name as records. I used a combobox to show a list of available filters, when I choose date I need it to filter according to today's date. I however cant seem to assign the static entity to a value because it gives me an error.

Any ideas on how i can convert the static entity record to hold the value I need it to?

Hi J.,

I'm not sure I'm following. That is, not from someone who's as smart as you :). I probably misunderstand, but do you actually want to call, from the Global zone, an action in the Internal zone? That kinda defeats the whole purpose of zoning, doesn't it?

Just define all the fields (including the optional ones). Attributes of the receiving structure that are not represented by fields in the JSON will be set to their default value.

Thanks for replying, i found a way around it, rather than define the width using columns, i defined it as px. Now the width are consistant and the text will wrap itself.

Thanks for the reply.

 I found that Data Type of dimensions used in structure of Advance Query is of Text. If I change it to Decimal and query the tables, it gives formatted output for decimals upto 2 places.

I am using single structure to store vaues retrieved from Web Service and for Export To Excel 's Advance Query. Decimal data type in structure will not work at the time of importing from Web Service since it requires Text data type.

Now I need to use two structures. One for Import from Web Service and one for Export. Import structure will have Text data type for Dimensions field and Export structure will have Decimal datatype for dimensions fields.

One question is still pending why was it working in Version 8?

not really, because the zoning is for screens...
(and the espaces that are referenced will tag along no matter what)

Sometimes bugs appear because of fixes to other parts of the Platform :). What exact version are you running that causes these problems?
